Saturday was a lovely day. It was unseasonably warm for being just two days away from the first day of fall, and I was glad to have the last kiss of summer for Sarah & Adam’s wedding! The sky was bright blue, the sun was shining, and it was everything a bride might dream of for her wedding day to be. We started the day out at a residence in Falmouth, Maine for preparations and then on to the Woodlands Club a short drive from there for the big event. Sarah & Adam chose a color palette and theme based on different wines, and that idea did not disappoint! The burgundy, blushes and champagne colors all came together beautifully for a well-coordinated look. Everything from the gowns to the florals and wine-bottle table numbers were on point and flawless. We had cheery sunshine for the First Look, as well as all of the formal photos that took place prior to the ceremony, and then a little bit of cloud cover as a pleasant shade for the ceremony. After having a few moments alone as newlyweds, Sarah & Adam were ready to be whisked away by golf cart for their portrait photos. And, oh my goodness, their chemistry just made for the sweetest photos. These two are seriously in love, and it shows. We returned after some time together for them to join in on the remainder of cocktail hour, some dinner (with a sunset photo-op intermission) and then into the full blown party mode where there was laughter, tears of joy and tons of dancing to the amazing set list of 80’s & 90’s music. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek photos from their special day as much as I enjoyed being there to create them!
