I had a blast with Marjorie and Amanda the other day as we were running around and exploring Harbor View Park in Portland, Maine. This location has significant meaning to them as this was the spot where they first met, and where they got engaged. So this was the natural choice for their engagement photos! They rocked it during the session and I am just loving how the shots are turning out. I had a blast with these two, and can't wait to photograph their wedding celebreation in October!
A little off and on rain couldn’t keep sprits down and the day was filled with s’mores, corn hole, frisbee, kilts and a Scottish ceilidh! Super fun! I’m telling you if I didn’t have to take photos of it I would have joined in in a heart beat!
I was honored to capture Kati & Nick's fabulous wedding at Mechanic's Hall in downtown Portland, Maine. The day was filled with fun, laughter and love, just like these two wonderful people. They are surrounded by such loving, giving and caring friends and family it's no wonder the day just radiated it all around.
I have gotten to know Ellie and Collin over the last couple of years, since we did their wintry engagement session in Freeport in 2016. We all couldn't believe the big day was finally upon us, and it was just as magical as I had pictured in my mind for it to be. Beautiful venue, beautiful decor, beautiful dresses and food....just incredible. It felt like walking into a fairy tale!
What better way to start the day and weekend than hanging out with super fun people and taking their pictures? My weekend is definitely off to a great start having kicked it off with Jill and Alex in South Portland for their Engagement Session! They love to spend time sailing during the summer (and Alex participates in racing), so it was important to them to have some nautical elements incorporated into their session.
Theresa + Chuck's York Golf & Tennis Club Wedding Sneak Peek | Wedding Photographers Near York Maine
Chuck and Theresa were married at the York Golf & Tennis Club in York, Maine yesterday, and I was honored to be there to capture their amazing celebration. The wedding was elegant and clean with lovely, fresh local flowers, with hues of blush, whites and greens, and it came together so beautifully.
Do you recognize these beautiful people? Yes! They are the same Joe & Toni whose proposal I captured last September at the Cliff House in Ogunquit, Maine! I am thrilled to be the photographer for their wedding in 2019, and today we completed their engagement session. I will tell you it is always a good time with these two, even when it feels hot and muggy and everything is sticky.
The pair had an intimate elopement ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, with their two adorable little ones as their bridal party. Everyone was happy and sharply dressed as they pulled into the park in their limo, and spirits were high.
What an incredible night! I was worried that it was going to be really hot for Tyler & Rachel's surprise marriage proposal photos last night at Bug Light park in South Portland, Maine, but the temperature cooled with a lovely summer breeze, and set the perfect stage for their big moment.
Lavonne chose a beautiful, flowy floral print gown for her wedding that she brought along for the shoot, and it was just perfection! The weather behaved even with some cloud cover, and gave a soft and clean setting for the photos. There were horses, wild flowers, beaches, and lobster traps, you name it for our settings.
I was honored to capture these marriage proposal photos for Tim and Liz just a short drive from Portland, Maine on Saturday at the stunning overlook at Two Lights in Cape Elizabeth. I had so much fun planning with Tim, and finding the perfect location that made his "heart skip a beat" when he saw the photos
I had so much fun with Erica & Nate today during their engagement session! The drizzle couldn't keep us down from the start, and it even lightened up for us so we could get some more fun shots around Ft. Williams in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.
Oh my goodness. I had so much fun with these two sweethearts this evening at Fortunes Rocks Beach in Biddeford Pool, Maine. I hadn't been to the beach before, but it is most certainly on my list now! Kristin & Josh love the beach, so it naturally had to play a major role for their engagement session.
Oh my gosh, what a great evening! I had a blast going around to different spots all around Fort Williams with Kati & Nick today! The weather may have started off a bit windy and chilly, but we warmed right up with a nice walk to our first few locations and ended with a beautifully lit seascape as our background.
I had a blast running around the Old Port in downtown Portland, Maine earlier today with Julia & Marc for their engagement photos. It may have been a little chilly, but it didn't stop these two from rocking the camera like total pros today.
I was thrilled to be a part of Nancy & Jim's special wedding day ceremony and capture their intimate elopement at the Portland Harbor Hotel. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and is a fabulous choice for an indoor elopement in the spring when it's just a little too cold to be outside for too long. Big windows and beautiful fixtures make for a very warm and inviting space, and the modern and fresh decor breathes vibrant life into the place.
Did you know there is a beautiful, airy ballroom with gold painted details and centuries-old artwork just waiting for the Cinderella of brides right smack dab in the middle of downtown, Portland, Maine? Well, now you do. Mechanic's Hall is opening its doors to the public as a wedding venue, and this is seriously such a cool space.
Pumpkins, scarves, engagement rings....you cannot go wrong with this one! We somehow managed to keep this entire plan secret, and boy was Gabi surprised in the best way possible today.
We all certainly got a workout walking/climbing to the different spots to shoot on this one, but it was totally worth it because: 1. these sneaks are awesome, and 2. we can all skip leg day tomorrow. :) I was shocked to learn this was their first ever photo session together! They totally rocked it out tonight!
Literal blood, sweat, and tears were poured into this venue and this project while getting it ready for the debut. Beth (the owner) and her gang of super-talented, horse-training, carpentry wielding, decorating, mowing, fixing, gardening and cleaning superstars completed an insane amount of work getting this stunning venue ready for presentation
