I can't believe it's that time of year again.  This time last year, I was hired to shoot my first fall line with Harmon's Floral Co. out of Portland Maine, and here we are again today.  Thinking back on my adventures to this store in the past, I used to fret the parking in downtown.  And now finding a place to park for these shoots is second nature to me.  On my drive over, I reflected on all of this and thought about how far I have come in a year, and how neat it is to see others change and grow as well.  And it's very cool to see how trends and styles have changed over a period of just a year, but I am absolutely loving the new textures and earthiness of these arrangements.  I was blown away by the colors and textures in these arrangements, and how fall doesn't just mean pumpkins and orange everything anymore.  How modern and "Maine" these are, and how I could picture these in a dining room, or at a fall wedding as centerpieces.  My favorite little extra detail are the birch bark style containers - I have seen these throughout the summer at the various weddings I have photographed and filmed, and I just can't get enough of them.  If I were to plan my own dream wedding, these would definitely be involved somehow.  Which arrangement is your favorite?

If you like the images you see and are in need of a photographer for your wedding, I'd love to chat!  207-808-2151 or weddings@207weddings.com
