I first remember talking to Nick and Sarah during our first call together, and also when we met at the Cookie Jar in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, after they had already hired me. We had an awesome time chatting together and getting to know each other a little bit, and I felt like we had already been friends for years. We were all super excited for the big day. Fast-forward almost a year, and there we were, at their amazingly beautiful wedding at Granite Ridge Estate & Barn in Norway, Maine. This was the quintessential rustic-meets-glam Maine barn wedding, complete with a donut wall filled with donuts from, you guessed it, the Cookie Jar. Sarah & Nick chose hues of gold, rose gold, blush, pink and white for their theme, and nailed the "ethereal rustic garden" feel they were going after. And, as Nick said in his vows, everything was absolutely picture-perfect. From the stunning florals by Fiddleheads Florist & Vintage Chic Gifts to the hand-made table numbers and signage, the dresses, the shoes, the suits - it was all a part of Sarah's highly curated and skillfully planned for the day. In fact, all of the amazing calligraphed signage, incredible table numbers, and even the stationary was hand-crafted by none other than insanely talented bride herself. The amazing details lent to a very relaxed and luxurious environment for the wedding to take place, and everywhere I went there was laughter and smiles ear-to-ear. It completely captured the spirit of the couple. It was such an honor to be a part of the wedding and to capture it for them to be able to relive over and over again, as Sarah has said.
