I absolutely loved helping Mike plan his proposal to Connie in Kennebunkport, Maine that happened on Friday. He knew the town had special meaning to Connie and that it was one of her favorite places to visit. So, when they planned a trip there together, it was a natural choice of location for him to pop the question. After a lot of logistics and planning since he hadn't been to Maine previously, Mike chose the perfect spot for the big moment, and for photos afterward. I was delighted to meet both of them in person and capture this super special moment in their lives. We had a blast as we went from jetty to beach to grassy ocean views all during our shoot and I just admired the love and joy these two have for each other. It amazes me sometimes how such a great amount of adventure can be packed into such a small time frame like finding a heart-shaped rock for them on the beach where he proposed, and a rainbow appearing right afterward, friendly visits with onlookers, a giant yacht, a Tesla appearance - this trip seemed to have it all!
