I was so excited to head on down to the Inn By The Sea today and get some images of the incredible ice cream wedding cake Patty, owner of Cake Elizabeth , had carefully crafted for the wedding there today. First of all, folks, this is an ICE CREAM WEDDING CAKE....I had no idea you could do an ice cream cake for a wedding cake and OMG it looked AMAZING. And, the weather was perfect for it - the sun shining bright, there was a kind, salty sea breeze, and the views from the party tent would provide any true song writer inspiration for days. As you can see by the images, the Inn had pristine decor and details for the wedding party and went along perfectly with the cake. Patty did an amazing job on this cake, and you can tell the love and attention to detail that went into making it. The monogram is hand-made with skillful craftsmanship and it, well, looked good enough to eat! Truth be told, it made me hungry. So what did I do when I got home after the shoot? I immediate got some ice cream. LOL
