INFORMATION
My name is Brittany Jones, I own 207Weddings, and am based out of Portland, Maine. Weddings are my absolute passion and purpose in life.
As I'm sure you've found out in your search, wedding videography in Maine runs the full gambit between a one man operation, to full on motion picture production teams with several cameras, crew members and rigs shooting for the rich and famous. My professional wedding video production team is somewhere in between, usually with no more than a two-person crew to be as unobtrusive as possible for your day.
As a Maine wedding specialist (and I do love to travel also!), my job is to anticipate and understand my clients' needs, and to make sure that they are 100% taken care of before, during and after the big day. Nobody understands the importance of the personal history we are preserving more than my team and I do. That's why there's no better way to remember your day than to have it professionally photographed AND filmed. Together they work in perfect harmony to retell the complete story of your day in beautiful and meaningful form.
While photography lends to the precious tangible heirlooms passed down from generation to generation, your Maine wedding video will capture the sights, sounds and life as they happen, forever recording this moment in your own history for your entire family to re-live over and over again.
SO MY ADVICE IS:
• Budget for video
If you are on the fence about it - you will absolutely regret it if you don't have one done. Not having a wedding video done is the #1 biggest regret for couples who have been married and didn't get it done.
• Only trust professionals
to capture your celebration. Although we tend to connect with you emotionally, we are there to do a job for your day, and won't forget any important details.
• Sometimes creative teams can clash
So make sure the teams you hire can work together to make the process seamless for your day. We work extremely well alongside still photographers, and consider ourselves as part of the larger team you have hired for your day; so you can rest easy knowing that everyone is getting along, and working together to make YOU the priority.
