Oh my goodness, I loved this wedding *swoon*!!  Aside from all of the wonderful people I get to meet for my job (Danielle & Billy included, of course!), one of my favorite things about being a wedding videographer here in Maine is the places I get to see and visit.  We found ourselves in the Boothbay Harbor area for the third week in the row this day, only this time, we started at the stunning St. Patrick's Church in New Castle, Maine (about a 30 minute drive from Boothbay).  Just past the cute and sleepy little downtown stands the oldest active Catholic Church in New England with its beautifully preserved historical brick building, and its glistening modern extension.  It was just picture-perfect tucked into the colorful fall foliage, and I couldn't wait to get started.  The natural light was again absolutely on point this day with a slightly overcast sky, and it made for the best possible shooting conditions.  The usual church near the Spruce Point Inn was not available for their ceremony, so Danielle and Billy had to find an alternative.  And boy, they absolutely nailed it!  The church's large sanctuary had several windows which poured in the natural light, giving the place a fresh, clean and etherial feeling.  It was heavenly (pun intended), and made for AMAZING video capture.  After the wonderful ceremony with a large attendance of guests, we all made our way down to the Spruce Point Inn in Boothbay Harbor, to the Pemaquid Hall for the cocktail hour and reception.  I've gushed about this place before, and it was so amazing to me to see how the place can be transformed to fit each wedding individually.  Having seen two completely different style of weddings here myself (and back to back, no less!), it definitely lends itself as a warm and inviting blank canvas for any wedding decor palette, with plenty of space for dining and dancing.  Such an excellent choice.  Cocktail hour was held in the adjoining tented area on the patio for the adults, as the kids found the good stuff inside.  The flower girls and ring bearer all made themselves comfortable in the main dining area at and around the ingenious designated kid's table, complete with individual coloring pages, fresh boxes of crayons and milk in champagne glasses with an M&M cookie on top.  This was one indication of what I call a "Pinterest-perfect" wedding.

Another indication of "Pinterest-perfection" were the flowers.  OH my goodness - each table had a stunning centerpiece, all with a dark colored lantern and most nestled into a large bed of hydrangeas, roses and other stunning accent blooms and greenery.  Simply jaw-dropping.  Then came the beautiful guest book tree silhouette art piece, the adorable clothespin picture frame, the freestanding "Mr. & Mrs." sign for the sweetheart table, the gold bride and groom calligraphy wooden seat signs, and the sweets table.  My goodness, the sweets table.  It was something Willy Wonka himself would be jealous of, and ten times as pretty with its gold calligraphed decoration signs, florals, and blackboard and chalk treat labels.  Danielle and Billy went with unbelievably elegant gourmet cupcakes and hand-made cannoli as the main fare, and an elegant naked cutting cake complete with a gold calligraphed topper and fresh berries for garnish.  I couldn't have dreamt of more tantalizing looking treats than what was so beautifully and generously displayed - another "Pinterest-perfect" moment.

Then came the part everyone anticipates - the bridal party was announced in down the grand staircase, and soon Danielle and Billy took to the dance floor.  I have to tell you, I have been looking forward to this wedding for a long time to see these two sweethearts in action.  To say they can dance is an understatement.  They actually met while Billy was teaching dance classes in New York, so yeah.....they, and their friends, have some serious moves.  And I got the honor to capture it in action.  Their first song as a couple was sweet and romantic and allowed them to glide with perfection across the floor and soon it transitioned into Maroon 5's "Sugar" for an upbeat finale to their grand entrance.  It set the tone for more upbeat celebration, which is perfect for these two, and more incredible dancing to follow after dinner with their family and guests all getting down with their bad selves.  I felt so spoiled to capture the beauty of this couple and their amazing day, and I hope they and their family are forever blessed with this special memory.  It was an absolute dream for me, and I can only imagine how much more it was for them!  So without further ado, I present Billy & Danielle's most fabulous day!:
